Book Fair 9th December 2021

At Harris Invictus Academy we are keen to encourage our students to read for pleasure. We constantly support our students with a wide choice of resources available in the library.

We will be holding Book Fairs in the Academy Library, to encourage the joy of reading and provide students with an opportunity to purchase books of their choice, books they can bring to the academy and read in the library and during tutor times.

Our first Book Fair will commence on Thursday, 9th December 2021 to Thursday 16th December 2021. Students will get an opportunity to explore a variety of books at the Fair, which they can then purchase online and receive from our school librarian the following day.

As students' personal security and welfare are our priorities, we have decided to conduct the Book Fair through a cashless payment system. Please see below, a simple step and a link on how you will be able to purchase books online. For more information, please visit https://bookfairs.scholastic.co.uk/

Instructions for online payment

Step 1: Please ask your child(ren) which books and / or stationery material they would like to buy from the fair and then follow the link below in order to pay https://bookfairs.scholastic.co.uk/pay

Step 2: After you have clicked the link, you will then need to enter either the school postcode or school name. The postcode for Harris Invictus Academy is CR0 2TB,

I would enter Harris Invictus Academy which will appear in the drop down as you type, click and push Next.

Step 3: Choose the middle options ‘I am paying for Books from a wish list’.
