The Book Fair has arrived! Miss Smith, our librarian has done a fantastic job setting up and students are making keen purchases!

Tomorrow we will be hosting the fantastic Book Fair! We can’t wait to see the array of books in store and encourage all students to visit the library and see for themselves. All books will be for sale!

Happy Friday and Happy New Year to all our families! This week was a very cold first week back, but every student received a warm welcome by the Head of Academy and Faculty staff in assemblies this week!

The Invictus Family Programme have been busy! Headed by Ms Alston, Ms Duncan, and Mrs Copeland Monday evenings have been filled with food, fun, and support. Cooking and eating together has been a display of true Invictus Spirit!

Today all Year 8 students completed a session of First Aid Training! What a fantastic, potentially lifesaving, experience for all students and thank you to the Paramedic team who came down to train them! Thank you to Ms Thomas and the Science team for organising!!

Today we celebrated Black History Month in the Canteen! Chef and the kitchen team prepared a feast today, for staff and students to enjoy! Thoroughly enjoyed by all!

Here’s Ms Cullen stunning her Year 10 group with science today, using the Van Der Graff Generator! Teaching the static electricity topic in physics, she used the static electricity created in her, to light this Bunsen burner! Super science!

Welcome to Harris Invictus Academy from the Head of Academy

To be a committed member of the Harris Invictus community is to aspire to learn and gain knowledge. We are able to apply what we know to the outside world. The relationships between staff, students and parents are fundamental to the success of our Academy. Working together will ensure that students enjoy their time at Harris Invictus, make outstanding progress and leave us as responsible, well-qualified and self-confident young people, ready to make a valuable contribution to society.

Our Open Evening will be Tuesday 6th October 2026. 

This event will commence at 4.30pm and finish at 7pm.

Entry to the event will be via Lennard Road at the back of our site.

There will be tours of the school at this event.

Open Mornings 

Tuesday 13th October 2026. 9am - 9.40am

Thursday 15th October 2026. 9am - 9.40am
