Great work by the Eco students and staff. All working hard to clean up the garden patch. So far they have cleaned up 4 planters & planted cucumbers, potato's, spring onions and some pollinator wildflowers. Amazing! https://t.co/9dafey0x8R

Announcement

18th January 2022 - Year 11 Parents Evening.

Dear Parent/Carer

Year 11 Parents Evening, Tuesday 18th January 5pm start and 8pm finish.

Given the stabilising situation regarding Covid we have decided that we will go ahead with the previously postponed Y11 parents evening on the 18th January.

There is a booking system to make an appointment to see your child’s teachers. This can be accessed via My Child at School; you will have received your log in for this in November and again last week. Please note, making appointments will be on a first come, first serve basis – so please apply as soon as you can. Teachers will only be able to see parents who have booked appointments.

We know how important it is for you to have the opportunity to discuss how your son/daughter is progressing in their GCSE subjects, and, whilst we know we need to mitigate the risk against the spread of infection, we also know that this may be the only opportunity you may have to have those very important conversations about what we are doing to ensure your child achieves the best grades and what you can do to support.

Please do carry out a LFD test before arriving at the Academy, we will also ask you to wear a mask and we will keep the tables socially distanced to minimise risks. Obviously if you are apprehensive about attending in person, please do contact us and we will endeavour to make alternative arrangements for you.

I am sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused but as you are aware we do need to be guided by the situation as it evolves.

Thank you for your understanding.

Lisa Kattenhorn  - Principal
