Year 8 Harris Federation Netball Tournament

The Federation Netball Tournament took place on the 2nd March at Crystal Palace Leisure Centre. This was the Year 8 netball team first competitive match of the year, playing against 9 other Harris Academies. Playing 9 matches, some back to back, through rain, wind and finally sunshine meant the girls had to have strong endurance and motivation.

The tournament was played over 3 courts with 12 rounds. School received 3pts or a win and 1 pt for a draw. The school with then most points won the overall Federation Year 8 Tournament.

With some strong defense and fast attacking play the students finished 5th with 10 points.

All the girls enjoyed the tournament and were pleased with the result. A special well done to Kia Graham as she scored the majority of goals. Dionne Graham also demonstrated good attacking skills and was a good all round player on the day.

Well done to Dionne Graham, Khia Graham, Sharna Waite, Emile Kalytyte, Cymayung Adebakin, Indiah-Louise Dalrymple-Davis, Kaiya Pink and April Harvey.
