On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday next week we are very excited to be running a careers week for Year 10 students during the Academy day.  We are very fortunate to have a number of external speakers from a variety of career and academic backgrounds coming into the Academy to speak to our students about potential careers for their future.  Please see below for the programme.

On Thursday 8th February from 6 – 7.30pm we also have a company called Media Matters coming in to speak to students from years 9 and 10 who may be interested in a career in the media.  Speakers include DJs from both Kiss 100 and BBC 1XTRA, an actor named Arnold Oceng, who has starred in such films as ‘Adulthood’ and ‘The Good Lie’ which also starred Reece Witherspoon and a lady who has shot music videos for a number of high profile artists including Rudimental and Mick Jagger.  All students in Years 9 and 10 and their parents/carers are invited to attend this exciting event, please note students must be in Academy uniform.
