Announcement

Harris Federation Sports Day - Thursday 12th July 2018

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Harris Federation Sports Day – Thursday 12th July 2018

Crystal Palace National Sports Stadium, Ledrington Road, London SE19 2BB

As you are aware it is the Harris Federation Sports Day is on Thursday 12th July.  The day will see all Harris Academies coming together to compete against each other in an athletics competition. The day will also provide an opportunity to celebrate the sporting achievements of Harris students.

All students in attendance will be representing Harris Invictus Academy Croydon so it is essential that behaviour is exemplary throughout the day.  If at any point a student’s behaviour declines, the student will be sanctioned accordingly.

Your child is expected to arrive at the Academy at normal time and in full academy uniform and they must only carry their academy bag.  We will be travelling to and from the National Sports Stadium by coach.  We expect to arrive back at the Academy between 2.50pm and 3.30pm.

Your child should bring a drink of water, packed lunch and come prepared for all weather.  We will be seated in an uncovered stand so please ensure that your child has sun protection.  If it is a hot and sunny day we will be providing some hats, if required; students will not be allowed to wear hats not issued by the academy.

If your child receives free school meals a pack lunch will be provided for them.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me on the e mail below.

Thank you in advance for your support.
