Year 6 Summer Challenge programme

We are really looking forward to welcoming your son/daughter to our Academy in September.

Over the Summer we have a week where our new students can come in and meet other new students and meet some of their new teachers and staff who work at Invictus. This is a great opportunity to also get to know the layout of our Academy and start to live and breath our Academy ethos, routines and expectations.

Students will study a range of lessons with a focus on Maths, English and Science alongside the options subjects as well as some personal development.

Our Summer Challenge programme is for the week beginning Monday August the 8th . The day will start at 8.20am and finish at 12 midday.

An example of a day might be:

Time Day 8.20am Arrival and registration 8.30am

Lesson 1: 9.20am

Lesson 2: 10.10am Break 10.30am

Lesson 3: 11.20am - 12 Midday Personal Development

12, Midday the day finishes

Each student should arrive promptly with normal Academy equipment for learning.

Lunch should be a packed lunch as students will not be allowed off site. For those that normally get free school meals, these will be provided.
