Uniform - Important Information for Parents
I do hope you are all enjoying the break with your children and families.
It has been an excellent start to the academic year; students have attended the Academy on time, looking sharp and ready to learn.
We believe that students arriving in correct, smart uniform with all the required equipment are the first steps to being disciplined and focused learners. We are extremely proud of the many comments we receive from both visitors to the Academy and the community on how well presented the students at Harris Invictus are.
We are aware that there have been some issues with our uniform suppliers, Hewitt’s. However, we have been assured that all issues have now been resolved and all uniform, including bags, are in stock. The Academy only has limited uniform to lend to students, so to support us with only lending uniform in rare cases, please could you ensure that by the time we return on Monday 4th November 2019, your child has all the required uniform and equipment, including bags. Please note, the Academy will only lend uniform to a student once in any half term and students without correct uniform will not be able to attend lessons.
Can I also take this opportunity to remind you that all coats and scarves should be plain black and that students can wear only one small earring in each ear lobe which should be plain gold or silver; no design and no stones or diamantes.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
We look forward to all your children returning to the Invictus family on Monday 4th November at 8.30am for a fresh start in the new half term.
Mrs L Dixon, Vice Principal
