Announcement

GCSE Results Day 22 August 2019

Dear Parent/Carer

We are writing to you to outline the arrangements for your child’s GCSE results day on Thursday 22nd August 2019.

Results will be available to collect between 10:00am and 12.00pm in the main hall.  Students and parents are required to enter the Academy through the student entrance on Lennard Road.

If a student cannot collect their results in person, the student can nominate someone to collect them on their behalf.  The student must write a letter stating the person they authorise to collect their results on their behalf it must be signed and dated by the student.

The letter must state ‘For the attention of the Examinations Officer – Miss P Elliott’ it must be handed in at reception or emailed to P.Elliott@harrisinvictus.org.uk  by Friday 16th August 2019.

The person collecting must be in possession of a copy of the letter, and they must bring with them their own photographic ID eg. Passport, driving license etc.

Please Note: Results will not be emailed or given over the telephone.

Results not collected on Thursday 22nd August 2019 between the times stated above will be posted that afternoon by first class mail to the home address we have recorded on our Student Records System. Please inform the Academy if your address has changed by emailing P.Elliott@harrisinvictus.org.uk by Friday 16th August 2019.

During the year, students demonstrated an excellent approach to their exams and we hope that a number of you choose to join our 6th form at Harris Invictus, where the excellent relationships you have with our staff will support the progress that exceeds our local competitors.

We are pleased to announce that we have planned our timetable effectively to ensure that a number of high-quality teaching staff are prepared to give your child an aspirational sophisticated learning experience in their chosen A level subjects here at Harris Invictus, at the start of September.

Harris 6th Form at Harris Invictus enrolment will commence from 10:30am-12:30pm on results day, where we look forward to welcoming students into the next stage of their education. Senior staff will be on hand to offer guidance on the next steps.

We wish you a restful summer and look forward to seeing you on the 22nd August to celebrate your child’s success.

Yours sincerely

Ms L. Dixon

Vice Principal
