HIAC Visits the Science Museum in London
On Thursday 26th March Blue and Red Faculty visited the Science Museum in London. The purpose of the trip was to aid students’ understanding of different topics in Science as well as exploring Science outside of the classroom.
Students visited different areas of Science museum and explored different themes from Space and Flight to History of Medicine and Agriculture. Students found the visit very exciting and got the opportunity to talk to each other about their scientific knowledge. Mrs Miles said ,“ It was fascinating to see how much students knew about different topics in Science; Jakub Grako in 7.2 knew every detail about different types of fighter jets and how their engine worked!”
Students described their experience as “ fun and exciting” and some added that “ we did not think that Science could be so much fun!”
